Enjoy Kids’ Day the Green Bay way! The City of Green Bay’s annual Kids’ Day will be held on Monday, June 27 at various locations throughout the City. Activities are FREE for all Green Bay youth with a 2022 Kids’ Day wristband.
WRISTBANDS
Starting June 10, wristbands can be picked up:
• Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Forestry Office
• Green Bay Mayor’s Office
• Bay Beach Amusement Park
• Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary
• Brown County Library Central, E & SW Branches
• Pizza Ranch
• Green Bay Pools (June 11)
• Green Bay Playground Program sites (June 15)
MAYOR FOR THE DAY
Apply to be Mayor for the Day! One lucky child will have the chance to experience Kids’ Day alongside Mayor Genrich. While schedules will be coordinated with the winner and their family, Mayor Genrich will start the day with the Kids’ Day Proclamation in the Council Chambers at 9:00 a.m. Next, ride in a City vehicle to the Mayor’s Luncheon. During the Luncheon, accompany Mayor Genrich at the 11:00 a.m. press conference followed by lunch. Finish the day at the Joannes Jamboree. Other opportunities include recognition at the Common Council meeting on June 28 and throwing the first pitch at the June 30 Blue Ribbons game. Apply online. The winner will be selected by 11:30 a.m. on June 17.

MAYOR’S LUNCHEON AT LEICHT PARK
The annual Mayor’s Luncheon will be at Leicht Park on June 27 at 10:30am-1pm Free lunches will be served to kids by the Green Bay Area Public School District at 11am-1pm (adult meals $4.75, extra milk 50¢.). Other partners providing activities include:

Mini Canvas Mosaic Project with Green Bay Community & Economic Development Department: First 200 kids paint a mini canvas that will be arranged into a colorful mosaic
N.E.W. Entertainment Unlimited: Music
Water Utility: First 200 kids will receive free water bottles
FREE ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE CITY
Free activities throughout the City include:
Bay Beach Amusement Park: Free ice cream treat at 2-4pm (while supplies last) and free rides on the Big Wheel all day.
Botanical Gardens: Children free with paid adult admission. Open 9am-8pm.
Available on that day are our self-guided, drop-in activities:
Summer exhibit, Habitat, (developed by Smithsonian Gardens & made available by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service)
Scavenger hunt
Discovery Boxes (activity bins placed throughout the Garden)
Brown Country Libraries: Kids' Day Bubble Wrap at the Central Library at 10:30am - 11am
Celebrate Kids' Day with a bang & a stomp! We'll read stories, make lots of noise, & stomp some bubble wrap!
Kids' Day Super Soaker Art at East Branch Library at 1:30pm - 3pm
Water Guns + Paint = Art! Take aim at your paper & leave with a paint masterpiece. All supplies will be provided. This is an outdoor activity (weather permitting) & you may get messy, so dress accordingly.
Green Bay Pools: Children free with paid adult at 12-3:30pm.
Green Bay Sail & Paddle: Sailboat rides for ages 6-18 5:30-8:30pm at South Bay Marina
Happy Joe's: Two children (10 & under) eat free with each paid adult at 11am-1:30pm.
Metro Transit: Children ride free all day. Adults ride free when accompanied by a child.
Pizza Ranch: One child (12 & under) eats free per paying adult at 11am-8pm at Green Bay & Ashwaubenon locations.
Riviera Lanes: Free bowling & shoes at 10-11am or 11am-12pm. Adults cost $2.
Wildlife Sanctuary: Wolf Feeding demonstration at 1:30pm, Mammal Program & Animal Enrichment Program
