We will be joined by the Green Bay Packers, Patrick Engineering and The Karma Group. “The Packers are pleased to support Green Bay’s beach restoration at Bay Beach and we’re looking forward to sharing more details at Tuesday’s announcement,” said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy.
The restoration of the Beach at Bay Beach has been a long-term goal of the City. This $7 million project was made possible after receiving permits from the Department of Natural Resources.
With the funding nearly completed, construction is anticipated to begin in 2019. The scope of the project is to install a 1,000 foot sand swimming beach, a 450 foot long pier, a new shoreline walkway, a concession stand and bathhouse, along with additional parking.
