Police & Fire Commission Names Two Finalists for Green Bay Metro Fire Chief
Green Bay, WI: The Green Bay Police and Fire Commission have named two finalists for the position of Chief of the Green Bay Metro Fire Department to succeed Chief David Litton, who will be retiring at the end of the year.
Those finalists are:
Robert Goplin, 25-year veteran of the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, currently serving as Assistant Chief.
Matthew Knott, 25-year veteran of the Rockford Illinois Fire Department, currently serving as Division Chief.
Commission President Rod Goldhahn stated, “We are pleased to have these quality finalists for the Fire Chief position and look forward to more detailed discussions with each candidate. The Green Bay Metro Fire Department is known for excellence in providing the citizens of Green Bay, Allouez, and Bellevue with Fire and EMS services. We are excited to choose a new Chief that will continue that tradition. “
A final selection of the next Chief will be made after in person interviews scheduled later this month.
