CITY OF GREEN BAY YARD WASTE AT CURB (DPW enforcing violations and invoicing for collection)

City of Green Bay residents are reminded that DPW collects curbside yard waste for no-charge only during a specific time period each spring and fall.  At all other times, DPW charges residents for collection if yard waste is placed to the curb.  The only no-charge year-round DPW collection services are for brush/tree branches, trash, and recycling.

Green Bay's 2022 spring curbside yard waste collection program officially ended on Friday, May 13.  Between May 13 and fall of 2022, residents must dispose of yard waste at a City yard waste facility.

Through the summer months, DPW collects yard waste found at the curb and invoices property owners for collection.  Minimum charge for out-of-season yard waste collection is $82. Charges will be higher depending on size of the yard waste pile.

To avoid receiving an invoice for yard waste collection, DPW advises Green Bay residents to haul all yard waste to a yard waste center during summer months.  DPW prefers to not invoice for out-of-season yard waste collection but is obligated to enforce related ordinance violations.

Please remove all yard waste from the curb during summer months and advise friends and neighbors to do the same. Have a safe and enjoyable summer.
