Today, Judge Atkinson approved the sale of the Hotel Northland to 304 N. Adams, Green Bay, LLC, who will own and operate the hotel as Marriott Autograph Collection property.  This is great news for the City because it assures an increased tax base, gives Green Bay a four-diamond hotel, and aligns the historical and social significance of the Hotel Northland with the Marriott brand.  This also assures timely completion of the Hotel, and that all obligations to the city are met.  We’re excited that Greenwood Hospitality, an award winning Marriott operator, will be the management team and will deliver top-notch hotel and restaurant amenities.  “We’re excited about today’s development, and that this downtown hotel will be open and operating this fall,” said Mayor Schmitt.  The Mayor will be available for comments Tuesday, May 1st.
