Early In-Person Absentee Polling Begins Today at Transit

(Green Bay, WI)  Beginning today March 19, 2020, Early In-Person Absentee Polling will begin at Green Bay Metro, located at 901 University.  Voting will be available Monday through Friday, March 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31 and then April 1, 2 and 3, during the hours of 10 am to 2 pm.

The voting location is on the west side of the building, in the main lobby.  There is protective glass between the voter and the election inspector, but not between voters. Therefore we are going to limit capacity in the waiting room to four people at-a-time.

Furthermore to maintain protective practices (social distancing, hand-washing etc.), we ask that voters bring their own black ball-point pens to use on the ballots.  We ask that voters do not bring gel pens, felt-tipped pens, or pens other colors than black.  There will be single-use pens available.

Voters will need to bring valid photo identification in order to vote.

New registrants may register to vote at this time.  Please bring proof of residence.

Parking is located in the visitor lot, which can be accessed as driver heads west on University Avenue.  There are handicapped-accessible stalls in this lot.

The City of Green Bay, along with Governor Evers’ office, strongly urges voters to request an absentee ballot.  Voters may request an absentee ballot up to the Thursday before election day, that is, the last day to request an absentee ballot is April 2, 2020.

Please visit to check your registration, request an absentee ballot, and verify the types of acceptable identification for voting purposes.
