Bridge Lights Off to Commemorate Earth Hour

(Green Bay, WI)  In honor of Earth Hour, the City of Green Bay will shut-off the architectural lighting on the bridges.  This observance will take place Saturday, March 30th from 8:30-9:30 pm local time.  This will not affect any street lights or navigational lights.  Citizens are encouraged to participate as well by shutting down lights and other electronics in honor of Earth Hour.

Earth Hour observance began in 2007 and is now the world's largest grassroots movement for the environment, inspiring millions of people to take action for our planet and nature. Earth Hour is put on by the World Wildlife Fund and other organizations.
