Class Descriptions

Aqua Fitness

Each week will feature a fun and challenging workout in the water that will include cardio, strength and balance for all fitness levels.

Boot Camp

Have some fun and stay in shape this summer! This 60 minute class is about improving your strength and stamina through a rugged, outdoor workout. Class consists of sports drills, running, circuits and interval training.

Buttz and Gutz

Be prepared for fun, challenging, and unique workout every time we meet. If you're looking for an awesome workout, come join us to work out your butt, gut, legs and targeting those specific areas. All levels are welcome!

Cardio Dance

A wide variety of dance moves such hip hop and jazz choreographed to music that is geared towards all fitness levels. This class will incorporate movement that targets the glutes, legs, abs, arms, back or a combination of any of these.

Cardio Sculpt

Join us for this total-body workout class set to upbeat music. There will be components of body weight strength exercises as well as cardio movements and ab work. This high intensity workout will also include modifications for all levels. Let's get ready to sweat, tone, and have fun!

HIIT

High Intensity Interval Training involves high intensity movements followed by low intensity movements, getting your heart rate up with short breaks. This is a fast class with lots of cardio and we will end with a cool down. Come join!

HIIT to Kick

This class includes cardio kickboxing to music, with great cardio and then breaking up into fun strength activities. Park equipment and being outdoors adds to the excitement!

Pop-Up Class

Each Thursday night there will be a new and exciting Pop-Up Class on the CityDeck. The type of class will be revealed on our facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FITintheParks/

POUND

Try something completely new. POUND uses lightly weighted ripstix, an infusion of cardio and strength with drumming. Music-inspired fitness is the new craze!

Power Yoga

Incorporates yoga and Pilates fundamentals with athletic training for balance, mobility, flexibility, and the core. Emotive music drives the experience as you breathe and sweat through this full-body fitness journey.

Strong by Zumba

This is not a dance class! This is a full-body workout with boxing and body weight exercises all to the beat of the music. Hope to see you there!

Tai Chi

Tai chi, often referred to as meditation in motion, is a slow and continuous form of exercise designed to balance the mind, body and spirt. The practice of tai chi consists of a series of slow, graceful movements that are combined with deep breathing. Movements are without strain, and provide exercise and toning for every part of the body. Anyone, regardless of age or physical ability, can benefit from its practice.

Yoga on the Deck by Jenstar

Yoga on the Deck is recommended for anyone who wants to feel inspired, get connected with themselves and their community and wants to learn more about Yoga! This class is Vinyasa Flow style, but moves at a comfortable (slower) tempo highlighting basic postures. We cover breath connection, body alignment and relaxation to allow you to feel present, calm and strong in your body.

Zumba

Dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates fitness and dance at the same time!
