About Downtown Green Bay

The historic center of Green Bay, the Downtown District includes the geographic area from Main to Mason, the Fox and East Rivers. By day, it functions as the government and office center and by night, a thriving dining and cultural scene with theater, pubs and events.

Downtown is home to the CityDeck, a riverfront boardwalk/promenade along the edge of the Fox River. It is about one-quarter-mile in length and situated between the Walnut Street bridge and the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge with multiple platforms extending out over the Fox River. For more information about downtown, visit the Downtown Green Bay, Inc. website. Also visit the Downtown Master Plan page.
