National Night Out is an annual nationwide effort that helps promote police-community partnerships; crime, drug and violence prevention; safety; and neighborhood unity.
The City of Green Bay asks neighborhoods to take a stand against crime and help build a stronger sense of community by participating in National Night Out. National Night Out (NNO) is held each year to encourage people throughout the nation to come outside and join their neighbors in giving neighborhood crime a “going away” party. NNO is celebrated nationally the first Tuesday of August. National Night Out is a fun opportunity to build community and police partnerships.
