The Green Bay Police Department provides two online options to obtain crash reports:
- This website allows someone directly involved in the accident (driver/passenger/property owner) to download a free copy of the accident report
- You will need one of the following to search for the report
- Date of accident and Last name of person involved
- Last name of person involved and street it occurred on
- Report number
- https://crashreports.wi.gov/
- This is the WI DOT’s website and only provides reportable crash reports (if you do not find your report on this website you will have to use the other)
- You will need one of the following to search for the report
- WIDOT Document number
- Date and Wisconsin Driver’s License number
- If you have problems or questions on obtaining an accident report, call the Records Division at 920-448-3329
- If an insurance company or attorney wishes to request the supplemental report for an accident, requests must be submitted in writing on letterhead together with a completed Records Request Form (PDF); requests should include the name of their insured or client.
