The Green Bay Metro Fire Department is sponsoring a fire safety poster contest that is open to all 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students. Posters are to be related to this year’s fire prevention theme: “Serve Up Fire Safety in the Kitchen!”
Rules of Participation
Participants must be in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade.
Posters should be created on white construction paper.
Each poster must clearly state the fire prevention theme which is Kitchen Fire Safety.
Each poster must have the following information on the backside: students full name, parent or guardian’s name, telephone number, home address, teacher’s name, school and grade level.
Participants MUST live within the City of Green Bay or Village of Allouez limits.
All posters need to be submitted to GBMFD Station 1 – 501 South Washington Street Green Bay WI 54301 by Friday, October 9th.
Poster contest winners will be contacted by the end of the day of Monday, October 12th. There will be one winner from each grade. Winners will receive a goody bag along with a fire truck drive by.
