Fire Prevention Poster Contest

Attention Students and Parents!

Would your child like the chance to win a ride to school in a fire truck? The Green Bay Metro Fire Department is sponsoring a fire safety poster contest that is open to all 2nd and 3rd grade students. Posters are to be related to this year’s fire prevention theme. “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape, Plan and Practice Your Escape!”

Rules of Participation

  1. Participants must be in 2nd or 3rd grade. 
  2. Posters should be created on white construction paper
  3. Each poster must clearly state the fire prevention theme
  4. Each poster must have the following information on the backside: students full name, parent or guardian’s name, telephone number, home address, teacher’s name, school and grade level. 
  5. Participants MUST live within the City of Green Bay or Village of Allouez limits. 

All posters need to be submitted to GBMFD Station 1 – 501 South Washington Street Green Bay WI 54301 by Friday, October 11th.

Poster contest winners will be contacted by the end of the day of Tuesday, October 15. There will be one winner from 2nd grade and one winner picked from 3rd grade. Winners will receive a ride to school in a fire truck.
