- $175 to the Maple Arches Neighborhood Association
- $175 to the Fisk Addition Neighborhood Association
It may feel too early to be thinking about the holidays, but it is time for the 2013 Green Bay Lights and Holiday Nights contest! The Green Bay Lights and Holiday Nights contest is a great way to show off your community pride and light up this special season. It’s also a perfect project for the entire family to enjoy. So, pull out your Santas, sleds, reindeer, wreaths – and don’t forget the lights!
Deadline for nominations is Noon on Friday the 13th of December.
Judging will take place the evening of December 13th, so be sure to have the lights on! Judging criteria is: character of lights, decorations, creativity and theme. Results will be posted online December 16th.
Four prizes will be awarded:
Best Individual House: $100 for the Homeowner, $350 to the Neighborhood Association the house resides in.
Best Packer Themed House: $100 for the Homeowner, $350 to the Neighborhood Association the house resides in.
Best Business Display: $100 for the Businesses favorite charity.
Best Block: First street to be snow plowed in the neighborhood (after the major streets) and $350 to the Neighborhood Association the block resides in.
Winners will be recognized at the City Council meeting on December 17th.
This competition is presented by the City of Green Bay and the Green Bay Neighborhood Leadership Council. All City of Green Bay residents are encouraged to brighten their neighborhood and share the holiday spirit!
Just enter the approximate street address of the house or block you wish to nominate. This exterior lighting event is open to all residents who live within the city limits.
