The Office of the Clerk/Treasurer has the fiduciary responsibility to collect, record, and deposit all government receipts and to manage cash and investments in accordance with the City of Green Bay Investment Policy.
The office also has the administrative responsibility for elections, licensing, managing the records of the Common Council, and dissemination of general information to customers.
City of Green Bay propoerty taxes are due January 31 (1st installment) and July 31 (2nd installment). They are payable to the Brown County Treasurer located at 305 E Walnut in the Northern Building. The City of Green Bay Clerk’s Office is responsible for collection of delinquent personal (business) property taxes that are not paid by January 31.
